We’ll all be going a little football crazy this month as the European Football Championships kick-off. Will Gareth Southgate’s players end the trophy drought? Or will they fall foul of the dreaded penalty shoot-out? And it’s not just fans of the three lions who will be excited about this summer with Scotland and Wales taking part too. May the best team win – probably France, maybe Spain.I was thinking about the importance of having a great team around you.
At EweMove, I believe we have an exceptional team supporting our franchisees. Our team players cover marketing, compliance, finances, and business planning which allows our franchisees to focus on what they are best at – meeting people, winning new business, and caring for clients.
A good team allows members of it to play to their strengths. You wouldn’t want Harry Kane donning the gloves and going in goal, would you? His skills lie in scoring goals. And it’s the same when you’re running an estate agency business. Why waste time doing multiple admin jobs when you can get someone better suited and more skilled to do it for you, much more cost effectively?
Having a team that allows you to focus your time and energy on the vital money-making things like prospecting and converting leads means you can achieve your business goals far more quickly. And all good teams seem to have a blend of enthusiasm, experience, and energy. Three critical components if you are trying to win matches or more business.
I know one thing from hard-earned experience is that you can’t do it all yourself. Trying to do so to save money is a false economy. You’ll simply end up losing. Stick to what you’re best at, build a great team around you (or simply plug into ours), and you’ll reap the rewards.
Thanks for reading and good luck to the home nations taking part in the Euros.
