What a Kerfuffle...
Welcome to the first of my blogs, and yes its taken this long to launch because I couldn't of course find a cheesy enough title. Now with the Whale Way that’s sorted.
Over the coming days, weeks, months and what will feel like lifetimes, I'm going to defrag my mind for you with useful commentary on the industry (and less useful commentary on the wider world, and probably some 'amusing' cat gifs too). Anyway, if you fancy having access to a mind already reserved for scientific experimentation upon my demise, or earlier if some people have their way, then please sign up below and save me being fined 4% of my global revenue (currently valued at a packet of pickled onion Monster Munch and a Snickers). Then to the glorious and exalted content legends Phegan, Panos, Renshaw, Knight and Watkins, you can add Poundlands BOGOF Simon Whale, and no that's not you getting two for one, I'm just big boned enough that it looks like it.
So, I’ve launched Kerfuffle in true Whaley style, over the last few months there’s been Oompa Loompas, headline sponsorship of the ESTAS and Sanjfest, and most recently Kerfuffle backed Property Academy’s Management Master Classes hosted by Josh Phegan. But now it’s time to get serious and put some real meat on the bones – what is Kerfuffle, and most importantly, how is it going to help you?
Kerfuffle is a cross between Which, Groupon and Trip Advisor. The aim is to help agents make smarter supply chain decisions and make the process of finding new suppliers faster and simpler. In addition to the commentary that I will be writing, there will be an A-Z guide of suppliers and on each supplier page I will compile the essential information that you need to work out which suppliers are the best fit for your company. Of course user reviews are an important part of this so I will be inviting you to leave honest and helpful supplier reviews. And, to make Kerfuffle club membership even more compelling, I’ll be negotiating deals and creating product bundles that are exclusive to our members.
Sound good? I hope so. And even if you’re not convinced yet, it’s free to join so why not give it a go? Now I’ve just got to get on with delivering this before the conference season starts and my world blurs for a few months, and that’s if I survive the Do It For Dom Challenge in early September – more on that in my next blog post.
On a serious note, I really hope that I can deliver significant value to you. I’ve already saved one of my members over £55,000. So if you’d like to get involved, here’s the link to sign-up:
