BELVOIR CROWNS FRANCHISE OF THE YEAR 2023!

Natalie Boardman of Belvoir Tunbridge Wells claims top Gold Award…

The Belvoir Annual Conference and Awards, in association with partner sponsors iamproperty, Let Alliance and PayProp, welcomed franchisees, guests, and suppliers from across the country to celebrate achievements and inspire business growth in 2023 and beyond. Natalie Boardman, owner of Belvoir Tunbridge Wells, impressed the judges the most with her achievements, winning the prestigious Gold Award for Belvoir Franchise of the Year 2023.

“Natalie is a very deserving winner of our top Gold Award of Franchise of the Year 2023,” said Belvoir CEO Dorian Gonsalves. “Our panel of judges wanted the top award to go to a business that was owned by someone who truly epitomises and embraces every aspect of the Belvoir brand. This award is not dependent on how big the business is, but does embrace key factors within our business model, including compliance, acquisitions, involvement with helping other franchisees in the network, as well as the quality of marketing etc.

“Natalie joined Belvoir six years ago and is very popular amongst her peers. Despite being very busy she is always extremely generous with the time she gives to help Central Office, as well as other franchisees and people in her local community. Natalie completed on a large acquisition in 2022, which added about 270 properties to her portfolio, and I am delighted that she has received this award. I wish Natalie every success for the future, as her business continues to grow.”

On winning the title Natalie said: “I am absolutely thrilled! We are a small team of just four people, and everyone was over the moon to have won. It’s not something that we were expecting, but we could not be happier. We will definitely be going out as a team to celebrate, as this is real testimony to the dedication, commitment and achievements of everybody at Belvoir Tunbridge Wells.”

“Belvoir’s Annual Conference and Awards was a superb event,” continued Belvoir CEO Dorian Gonsalves. “This year the Conference, held at the Delta Marriott Hotel, Nottingham was themed around the concept of “We are Belvoir – Yes we Will!” and was focused on providing franchisees with lots of new ideas and tools to help them maximise business in 2023 and beyond. 

“The Conference was facilitated by David Meade, who is not only a leading authority figure in the business community but is also an incredibly charismatic host, using live performance and mentalism to help share innovative ideas on consumer behaviour “In the evening Belvoir hosted its prestigious black tie 2023 Annual Awards. This was a fantastic event, provided completely free to our guests, and had a 1950s diner theme, complete with live band, and an amazing illusionist, who involved everyone in what was a truly magical evening.

“A total of 30 awards were presented, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, which went to Andy Campbell of Belvoir Moray. Andy was Belvoir’s very first franchisee, and his business is still going strong. Even after 27 years he has lost none of his enthusiasm and commitment, and we are delighted that his son and daughter have now joined him in the business. Conor Warburton of Belvoir Leamington Spa was awarded the Belvoir Rising Star Award (sponsored by Inspect Real Estate) in recognition of his entrepreneurial skills, community work and innovative marketing. New franchisee Tom Cartwright of Belvoir Exmouth won the Belvoir Newcomer of the Year Award. Tom opened a new office in Exmouth in 2022 after completing the purchase of @Home Estate and Lettings Agent in the town and rebranding it to Belvoir. He has also just completed on an acquisition!

“There were many other wonderful results on the night, with Brian and Loretto Linehan who own the Belvoir Basingstoke and Belvoir Southampton offices, winning a total of five awards! All aspects of the Belvoir business model were recognised during the evening, from financial services to sales and lettings, as well as offices who have organised great charity events and provide outstanding customer service. I would like to congratulate everyone in the Central Office team for organising such a brilliant event, and of course all of our sponsors and suppliers for helping to make the Conference and Awards the huge success that it was.”
