Letmojo launched on 6th April 2021 and as we approach this special anniversary, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on our first year.
We knew starting a business during a pandemic was never going to be easy, but we were building a team we knew had the right skills and the right ethos to make Letmojo a success. And what a start we have had.
Our team had spent many years working in the tenant referencing sector, we knew the marketplace was full of competitors and from years of working with many letting agents we knew what was needed. It was important for us to offer something different – something that seemed to be missing in what was already on the market – good old-fashioned customer service.
We wanted to look at what was really important in a reference – which bits really protected the agent and landlord, and which bits are there just for show or to make it cheaper and easier for the referencing provider. We wanted to go to market with a quality reference, one which does exactly what it needs to do and provide exceptional customer service along the way.
Put simply, our referencing would be completed by people, not by software.
It’s this honest, common-sense approach to tenant referencing which has helped our business have the incredible first year we’ve had.
Although we are a tenant referencing company first and foremost, our first year has seen us build a number of partnerships to enable us to offer complementary services to support our customers. Products such as Right to Rent checks, Enhanced ID checking, Void / Utilities management and Rent Guarantee. We’re constantly listening to our customers and what’s important to them, so we’ll keep adding to this list if our customers want us to.
Month on month we’ve seen growth and the feedback we’ve had from our customers has been amazing, we can’t thank them enough for being willing to help us develop into the business we are today. A special thanks also must go to our team though – to them, this is more than just a job. We care about our customers, we care about the results we deliver, and we want to make this business something special, a company with heart.
So, a big thank you to all of you for making this a brilliant first year and get ready to bring on year two!
