BusinessCloud and Unissu have revealed the inaugural PropTech 50 innovation rankings, which focused on companies of all sizes creating tech for real estate, construction, the built environment and building management. The rankings are designed to celebrate the most innovative startups, scaleups and established technology firms in the property sector.
120 companies were shortlisted for potential inclusion, and then voting was opened to BusinessCloud readers for one week – attracting 1,100 votes – before an independent judging panel made their choices from the shortlist and the companies were rated on innovation by Unissu’s UniScore PropTech data platform.
A combination of these votes, choices from an independent judging panel and an innovation rating generated by the Unissu community via its UniScore PropTech data platform determined the top 50.
The judging panel was comprised of:
● Sammy Pahal, managing director, UK PropTech Association
● Melanie Leech CBE, chief executive, British Property Federation
● Paul Unger, editor, PlaceTech
● Maria Wiedner, CEO, Real Estate Women and Cambridge Finance
● Jonathan Symcox, editor, BusinessCloud
TouchRight commented, “As a small PropTech platform we are pleased to have been placed at number 43. We are delighted to have been ranked so highly in and amongst some industry heavyweights. Thanks to everyone who voted!”
