Leading cloud-based property software provider, SME Professional, has integrated their technology with the new API solution from Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) to improve tenancy deposit registration for letting agents.
“SME Professional has an extensive array of integrations with providers across the property sector and we are delighted to add TDS as one of our integration partners,” commented Fraser Sutherland, Managing Director at SME Professional.
The TDS API is designed to remove the time-consuming task of transferring tenancy deposit data from a CRM system to the deposit scheme platform. Historically, this has been a manual task for letting agents that can result in duplication of work and human error when inputting data.
Instead, it automatically transfers the data without any inputting required from the agent. This reduces inaccuracies and saves agents more time in the deposit protection process.
The TDS API integration is designed to work seamlessly with the SME Professional software. Deposits can be registered with TDS whilst funds can be transferred via a BACS schedule at the click of a button.
“This functionality reduces our mutual customers’ operational costs and helps to reduce data entry errors associated with lodging deposits,” added Fraser.
With a background in innovation, founders Fraser Sutherland and Robin Lyles had a vision for an affordable property sector focused product that would automate processes across their customers' businesses.
Since 2006, SME Professional has been providing time-saving solutions for a range of lettings and estate agents, from the smallest of family run businesses to the largest UK franchises. This latest integration is part of their continued focus on developing new innovative functionality within their software for the property industry.
“We are delighted to have SME Professional onboard with the TDS API integration. Their ongoing commitment to innovation through technology aligns closely with our own values of making life easier for the PRS,” commented Debbie Davies, Head of Sales and Client Success.
The API is feature is available to all customers of TDS Custodial and TDS Insured, and users of SME Professional. Further information can be found here: TDS API
