The consultants raised a few questions over the session and they asked the team at Hive to elaborate. This is their response to the comments:
Q: Is the pack customisable? For example, if someone didn’t want broadband info or crime stats, is it easy to turn on and off?
A: Totally customisable. Sections can be switched on and off – we never show crime stats anyway. We will work to a low level of customisation for agents within each section.
Q: I can see there’s a CRM integration, who integrates currently and who is in the pipeline? Also what exactly does the integration do, is it two-way, e.g. you’ve got the buttons on the top for CTA’s like ‘Book Viewing’ does that kick directly into the crm system or just fire off an email?
A: The CRM integrations are for us to receive the property data fees for the photos, floorplan, etc. We as yet do not push anything back into the agent’s system in terms of val requests, viewings, or URLs for each iPack. We do however piggyback off of the agent's existing processes so if they are hooked up to a 2 way API then ours will be too. We will be working on our integrations in due course.
Q: Do you have any stats at this stage - any case studies around how much it is speeding up transactions and cutting withdrawals?
A: Miles and Barr reported a drop in fall-throughs at 10% after the first 3 months using iPacks. The strongest feedback has been its valuation winner ability. I have seen a lot of evidence myself but it is, of course, qualitative. Speeding up sales is more difficult due to the delays over the last year, however, Lifetime Legal estimates using their data a 2-4 week saving on average. (Paul Morgan added that a 10% drop in fall-throughs should equate to a 3% increase in banking which should of course be big numbers for most agents.)
