The consultants raised a few questions over the session and they asked the team at OpenBrix to elaborate. This is their response to the comments:
1. Tlyfe is a native App. Apple and Android versions are coming but Apple doesn’t like Blockchain as they can’t hoover all the data as they would like! We are not like a big tech data hooverin comanhy, hence the “public” blockchain platform we have built.
2. All CRMs are compatible but the ones who use APIs get better use. We can push information up to those Crms and compliment them.
3. All charges for Refs, gas checks, etc can be marked up. The landlords do NOT have access to this product or Tlyfe. They do get a couple of emails to confirm their details etc and the offer. But this information should be right as it is on the agent's CRM.
4. Landlords are not on the App as agents don’t like to give out their data or have another entity informing them. But the AML, for now, remains the Agents responsibility but that will change soon.
5. Passport ID is the principal way but Yoti (our integration) links with other forms. Eg, In India they have an ID card, so this works there. If s tenant does not have a passport then it links with the Driving Licence Authority of the National Insurance Database. So everyone is covered.
6. Rent records are on the blockchain so these are controlled and owned by the tenants and are 100% private and secure. So NO this is not a data grab as suggested!!
7. Finally, if a tenant pays badly…they will hate this. However, a tenant can choose the Credit Score option. In effect, a bad tenant may not want to share this info with the credit ref agencies or may choose not to share their payment history with the next tenant. So Tlyfe becomes a tenant passport for good tenants. We like this!
8. Finally, the notifications are all sent and received on the Agents Dashboard and the Tlyfe App. Click on the notification and you get taken to the exact action in the right tenancy “Flo”.
