He moved to Corporate Development and then to APAC where he ran GTM strategy for new data products, generating a 9-figure revenue stream. In his most recent role Joe built the growth function for a global entertainment brand, delivering ~600% revenue growth.

Pete brings fifteen years of commercial experience working for companies, such as YouGov and BT. Known for capitalizing on launching leading products that need market development and aggressive go-to-market strategies, while also restructuring multi-site organisations in hyper-growth markets across both established and developing economies.

What we’ll be discussing: 

- Don't ignore licensing! Agents are jointly liable and it doesn't just apply to HMOs. One fine has the ability to seriously impact the bottom line. Make sure you have a plan in place
- Don't underestimate the complexity in getting it right. We're a multi-round funded tech business that's hired some of the country's leading geo-spatial engineers. They want to work for us because it's so challenging matching so many datasets to so many addresses. Be very wary of any business that says they can provide an easy solution - they won't be liable, you will be.
- See it as an opportunity. Dealing with it efficiently means you'll spend more time making money whilst your competitor is on the phone to the council. Setting up a licence application service means this can also drive a revenue stream for your business. Holding licences for landlords gives them a reason to stay with you for the 5 year term. Complexity is a big opportunity for the best agents with the best partners
